I already do this on Yahoo Answer... I provide resources and then always suggest the person go their local public library where a librarian will happily provide the information the person is looking for. I almost always get a best answer for it too. woo hoo.. 10 extra points. People Like to get resources more than they like to hear ours expounding on opinions.
Great idea. I am SO on board.

Fantastic! Just for a twist, you may also want to try different boards (I admit I've been ignoring those in favor of the "easy pickins" over at Yahoo, so I need to diversify a bit).--Bill

Yahoo Answers does have sites in other countries and in other languages...look for the flags at the bottom of the main Yahoo Answers page (http://answers.yahoo.com). The best thing is probably to work in the languages that you're most comfortable using. Also, you don't just have to use Yahoo Answers. Is there a question/answer site specific to your country or specifically in your language? It would be good to see librarians giving answers there, too!
